Coffee Cinnamon Blast

Hello Beauty Peeps!
Ready to spoil your sweet tooth without the guilt or sugar rush? I'm about to share with you a special and low cal recipe for my favorite drink with one of my favorite flavors. Today we are making Cinnamon Iced Coffee!!!! It's really healthy too. Did you know that coffee prevents type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and dementia; that goes to show that you shouldn't skip on your daily cup of Joe. Cinnamon is great too, it speeds up your metabolism and is packed with vitamins and minerals such as calcium, fiber, and vitamins C, and K(in relativity to its small serving size of 1 teaspoon). So there you have it, coffee and cinnamon together help keep you pretty inside and out. It's a rather short recipe so I'm just gonna rate it right now.
Healthiness:7
Cost:10
Simplicity:10
"Coff'Dee 'N Cin'Ayemon Blast!" hee-hee(

All you need is:
Brewed, sweetened, then cooled coffee(one does not simply sweeten cold coffee)
Vanilla coffee creamer
Fresh Ice Cubes
Ground Cinnamon
Whipped Cream
First, fill your cup half ways with ice cubes. Next, add your sweetened, cooled coffee to your cup of ice- how much simpler can it get, right? Next add a little cinnamon. Now this part is like magic, pour in your coffee creamer and watch it swirl like a fantasy dream. Don't be tempted to mix though, just leave it alone. Finally, add some whipped cream and garnish with some cinnamon.
Now the last step is the most important one: Please make sure to drink up to your hearts content! Be sure to sip or gulp with caution as it may be delicious!
Side effects include: Mood boosts, Happiness, Rainbows 'nd Sunshine in your tummy! Haha J/K

Fried Apple Pies

Hello, my beauty peeps! I want to share a recipe that I made like 20 minutes ago.  It's much quicker than the traditional recipe and ohhh sooo very yummy!!!! Well first of all, here on Dee'licious recipes, we rate our recipes 1-10 Healthiness, Simplicity(10 being easy, 1 being hard), and of course, cost effectiveness. Besides fashion, me and Aye loveee to make yummy things, because I mean, who doesn't like food.  I mean sure we want to be models but a nice treat here and there... ABSOLUTELY.  Well, back to the recipe. Today we are making fried apple pies.
Fried Apple Pies

  • Healthiness: 3
  • Simplicity: 8
  • Cost: 4 (Baking ingredients usually cost more because they come in larger quantities, but they last for other recipes)
Ingredients: 1 apple, peeled and cut into pieces, 1 tbsp. cinnamon, 2 tsp. brown sugar, 1 tsp. white granulated sugar, 1/3 cup butter/shortening, 1 cup flour mixed with 2 tsp. granulated sugar(the other sugar is for the apples), 1/2 tsp. salt, gallon sized Ziploc bag for facilitating the process

First, combine all of the dry ingredients together. That would be your 1 cup of flour and sugar, and your salt. Next, cut in your shortening and use a fork or pastry blender to cut in.  If you have to, use your hands. Keep doing this until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.  Once you get to this stage, mold the dough into a ball and set in the freezer while you get working with some apples.

Place your cut and peeled apples, cinnamon, and sugars together and mix with the best utensil for such a job, YOUR HANDS!!!! :D Even if you didn't peel the apples or cut them, you can do all of that in this step while your dough is chillin' in the fridge.

After all of that, take out the dough ball and if you have one, put the dough in a cooking sprayed Ziploc bag in the center and  seal almost shut, not all the way though- you don't want to trap all that air in! Roll the dough with a rolling pin and press some of the cracked edges to form it into a disk.  Okay, some of you may be offended by this next step so read on if you dare.  You're gonna destroy your poor Ziploc friend.  Cut down both seams of the bag to open it and expose your dough disc. Place your apples in and we'll get folding. Fold one end of the disc to the center of the apples and do the same to the opposite side. Do the same with the other two edges and then seal the pie.  At this point, you're gonna want to put the pie in the freezer for 10 minutes, enough time to heat up some fryin' oil. Once it's chilled, and the oil is hot enough to where you can put a piece of the pie dough or a piece of bread in it and it gets crispy in 10 seconds, you know you can fry.  Also if you use thermometer, 350 is ample heat to fry. Place your pie in the oil and fry it till both sides are a golden brown and crispy and place it on paper towels to soak up excess grease. Then...
ENJOY!!!

Bye neeeeeeeeee,
(Dee)
